Dr. Leisa Robotham

Dr. Leisa Robotham was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and describes her young self as a kid who loved going to the dentist, despite knowing other people dreaded it. She loved it so much that she didn't know people had a fear of the dentist until she got older. She even reminded her parents when it was time for her dentist appointments. Dr. Robotham was in high school when she got a set of braces and realized her interest in a dental career. She graduated and moved to the United States to pursue her education towards that goal. Dr. Robotham completed her Bachelor’s degree at Ithaca College in New York before completing her post baccalaureate education at Barry University in Florida and Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., and her General Practice Residency at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Dr. Robotham always wanted to be a business owner, and is proud to open Lakewood Dental Studio, here in Dallas, where she can practice dentistry on her own terms and make decisions that put her patients’ needs and comfort level above all else. She treats her patients and staff with genuine compassion and empathy, and actively tailors her care to meet her patient’s needs.

Outside of the office Dr. Robotham enjoys exploring the vibrant Dallas food scene, checking out restaurants (especially for brunch) with her husband, Grant, or happy hour with her friends. She appreciates a great gym workout as much as a mellow day hanging with Grant and their dog, Porter, or curling up with a captivating read.

Dr. Megan Snyder

Dr. Megan Snyder brings over a decade of private practice experience in the Dallas area to Lakewood Dental Studio. She looks forward to providing a welcoming environment where patients will be treated with care.

Dr. Snyder grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class at Arcadia High School. From there, the adage “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could!” applies. She moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology. 

Dr. Snyder attended the Baylor College of Dentistry (now part of Texas A&M) in Dallas, where she was a member of the Odontological Honor Society and graduated in the top ten percent of her class in 2013.
Dr. Snyder enjoys dentistry as a means of helping patients improve their overall health and believes that continuing education enhances her ability to care for patients. She is an active member of a local study club affiliated with the renowned Pankey Institute. She has completed coursework at the Institute’s central location in Miami, Florida. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.

Dr. Snyder lives in Lake Highlands with her husband and three children. They are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church and enjoy returning to SMU often, where she and her husband met, to attend games and “boulevard” with friends. When she isn’t volunteering at school or running carpool to various practices, games, and activities, you can find her walking their dog, reading, or exercising.

What To Expect At Your First Visit with Our Dallas Dentists

While you are in our care, it is our goal that you feel confident, comfortable, and informed every step of the way. When you come into our warm and welcoming practice, you’ll be greeted by a member of our friendly staff, who will show you around the office and answer any questions you may have. Relax during your appointments with aromatherapy towels, noise-cancelling headphones, weighted blankets, and your choice of shows or music. After a thorough exam and cleaning, we will work together to develop your custom treatment plan. There is never any pressure to proceed with treatment right away as your first visit will be focused on getting to know you and your needs, lifestyle, and goals.
